Why I Chose Medicine

I chose to go into medicine to help patients. I get satisfaction about of seeing my patients doing well. I enjoy seeing that they feel great because of the care that was provided to them. I chose gastroenterology after I did a basic science research program at Yale that helped me understand the field at a molecular level and its clinical application.
