Urgent Care

If you are experiencing chest pain, severe shortness of breath or symptoms of a stroke, please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room rather than Urgent Care.

During the time of the Coronavirus Pandemic, you may wait in your vehicle instead of the waiting room and we will call your cell phone when it is time for you to be seen.

If you are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness or have recently been exposed to
someone who is suspected to have COVID-19 or to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19,
please your primary care provider prior to visiting the Urgent Care Department.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Appointments Preferred, Walk-Ins Accepted

While walk-ins are welcome, we are currently experiencing increased wait times and we are unable to guarantee that you will be able to be seen. If we can accommodate you as a walk-in, please know that you may experience a longer wait time. For your convenience, we recommend using our online wait list check-in system.  With online check-in, you can reserve your spot in the waiting list and wait in the comfort of your own home.  Plus, you’ll receive updates and reminder text messages about your urgent care visit once you are checked-in.

EMPLOYEE PHYSICALS, SCREENINGS & TEST APPOINTMENTS
The on-line check-in button above is not to be used for employer physicals, screenings or testing.
Please contact Employer Services directly to schedule an appointment at 315.798.1758.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PATIENTS REFERRED TO URGENT CARE BY THEIR PHYSICIAN

If you were referred to Urgent Care by a physician’s office, please schedule an appointment using our online check-in system.
Doing so will ensure that we can see you as soon as possible.  You will most likely have to wait longer if you do not make an online appointment.

Slocum-Dickson Urgent Care is now able to do a limited amount of RAPID ANTIGEN COVID-19 tests in the office for patients with symptoms who need to be tested and treated.

Symptomatic Individuals who have various signs of COVID-19 (e.g., shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, cough, sore throat, headache, muscle pain, etc. should call ahead to our Urgent Care department so that we can give you specific instructions for your visit based on your individual needs.  These patients may be eligible to have a rapid test done in the Urgent Care office and then immediately be seen for other illnesses such as strep throat, ear infections, etc.  Patients who have a negative rapid test will then have a second test called a PCR done in our laboratory using the same swabs to confirm the negative COVID-19 results.

We remain committed to keeping our well patients safe! All patients with symptoms suspicious for COVID-19 will be escorted directly to exam rooms and will not sit in the waiting room.
